About Us

At Sunshine Kids and Infants Physiotherapy (SKIP), we believe in supporting children with care, compassion and excellence. SKIP is a place where children thrive and reach their full potential.

Our Values

Acceptance and Compassion

We accept all children where they are at and build our practice around the value of "kids do well, if they can". We intend to care for children at all levels of functioning and are committed to 'meeting them where they are at, not where we wish they were'. In accepting, loving and nurturing all children, we offer a truly inclusive service.

Clinically Relevant and Research Based Best Practice

We offer programs that are clinically relevant for the child, research-backed by the best quality, peer-reviewed research studies, and best practice that are commonly used as the leading care approaches for children.

Family-Centred

Our practice is focussed on the family unit for the children we support. We maintain this family focus by offering support opportunities, education and understanding to parents of children with needs when required.

Sunshine Kids and Infants Physiotherapy is not just about the children we support. We pride ourselves on professional growth. Our learning culture is a point of difference that we thrive on. We practice personal reflection, group solution seeking, and integrated learning.

Our Team

All practitioner team members participate in a reflection session which is integral to the child’s program as each person contributes their unique experience and suggestions to promote each child’s growth. This workplace culture is only suitable for interventionists that are adaptable, flexible collaborators with kind, spirited natures.
